THINK Institute for Equity and Economic Advancement
Confronting a crisis of Inequities and Creating New Service Delivery Models Through an Anti-Racist Lens
Special Needs Network THINK Institute for Equity and Economic Advancement
The Special Needs Network THINK Institute for Equity and Economic Advancement will be a hub for progress in how we support independence and economic opportunities for those most directly impacted by autism and developmental disabilities—especially BIPOC and those who historically have been ignored, underserved and underrepresented in the national conversation.
A people- and caregiver-centered economic engine for individuals with disability, the Institute will be instrumental in addressing high poverty rates among families impacted by disability. Drawing from SNN’s deep roots in the communities, the Institute will lead the conversation about the future of services and act as an incubator for innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and self-sufficiency.
