Behavior Interventionist Apprenticeship Program
Developing a new generation of BIPOC providers
SNN is striving to improve outcomes and close gaps in resources for BIPOC persons with developmental disabilities. Through our Behavior Interventionist Apprenticeship Program, we are developing highly qualified providers from racially diverse backgrounds to work in Black and brown communities.
We are recruiting African American, Latino, Asians and other minority candidates to receive leading-edge training and mentoring. The program is building a highly skilled and culturally competent corps of behavior therapists and consultants—and serving as a model for programs across the country.
The Behavior Interventionist Apprenticeship Program builds on SNN’s deep history serving marginalized children with disabilities and their families.
