Dear Special Needs Network Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for each and every one of you who make up the incredible Special Needs Network family.

Our journey together has been one of dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with special needs and their families. Through your tireless efforts, advocacy, and support, we have achieved significant milestones and made meaningful strides in creating a more inclusive and equitable world.

We also carry a heavy heart as we mourn the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein. Senator Feinstein was not only a tireless advocate for affordable housing but also a committed partner in our collective efforts to create a better, more inclusive society. Her legacy in improving housing access and advocating for positive change will be remembered and cherished.

In the spirit of Senator Feinstein’s dedication to our cause, we also welcome Senator Laphonza Butler to our community. Senator Butler’s passion for social justice and her commitment to addressing the needs of underserved communities align perfectly with our mission. She has been a champion for these causes in our work together for some time, and we are excited for this next chapter in her journey. We look forward to working together to continue making a meaningful impact.

In times of both challenge and triumph, your resilience and passion have shone brightly. Together, we have worked to break down barriers, raise awareness, and provide vital resources to those who need them most.

As we continue this vital work, let us remember the importance of unity and collaboration. Together, there is no limit to what we can achieve for the betterment of the special needs community.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our cause. Your dedication inspires us all, and I am honored to stand beside you in this important journey.

With deepest gratitude and warm regards,

Areva Martin
