Back 2 School is the biggest inclusion healthcare + resource fair in Los Angeles for children with developmental disabilities and their families. The event will bring out resource vendors to provide families with medical, dental, developmental, and mental health screenings, pro bono legal clinic, and educational workshops to improve overall health and wellness, and more.

All proceeds from the event will benefit SNN’s Joe Patton Academy Camp (Camp JPAC) – the only free summer inclusion camp in South Los Angeles for kids with autism and related disabilities and their siblings. The summer camp benefits more than 300 local children.

This year’s Townhall will feature workshops covering a range of educational, health and advocay topics for parents, professionals and community. The workshops will be complimented with a comprehensive resource fair which will provide invaluable resources and tools necessary to access special needs services for kids, teens and adults.

Day-long event // At least 1 parent or caregiver must be present // Free food, resources, and childcare // Participants can be of any age // Families will be compensated $250.00, plus $150 for each additional child with ASD subject to meeting eligibility requirements // Families must be willing to participate in prescreening interviews, and complete pre and post event questionnaires and surveys.
